Amazon spent a lot on the advertising and Branding for Amazon Prime Day sale which was started 16th July.
For all prime members, this is the best day for saving on there shopping and they were waiting for the day but the amazon prime day sale it’s not going well for Amazon. The reason behind is that when the prime members on Amazon clicked on their landing page most of the landing page for Amazon prime day didn’t work. When most of the product links are clicked, the readers are sent to 404 Error Page or some readers sent to the home page of Amazon.
Some of the direct links or single products link is working properly. But this is a very big loss for Amazon and Holiday prime day.
All the seller and retailers were pushing this event from the past two weeks and they had very best deals for the prime members so this is also a big loss for them. Amazon is the world’s largest retailer and it is not a good for Amazon even though the retailer saw glitches last year, too.
In a statement to Tom’s Guide, an Amazon spokesperson said:
“Some customers are having difficulty shopping, and we’re working to resolve this issue quickly. Many are shopping successfully – in the first hour of Prime Day in the U.S., customers have ordered more items compared to the first hour last year. There are hundreds of thousands of deals to come and more than 34 hours to shop Prime Day.”
